Yona is a social researcher and data scientist with 10+ years of experience in both academic and healthcare settings. She is currently working as an Assistant Director at Stars Behavioral Health group (SBHG), a company that provides behavioral healthcare to children, youth, and young adults in mostly low socioeconomic regions in California. In her current role, Yona builds complex data systems to track, analyze, and gain insights on client characteristics, outcomes and satisfaction, as well as EBP fidelity monitoring. She is a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (BA Psychology and Economics), Tel-Aviv University (MA and Ph.D Organizational Behavior and Social Psychology), and UC Berkeley (Post-Doctoral Research). Her academic research has focused on the impacts of socioeconomic status on well-being across various contexts and was published in top peer-reviewed journals.
