I am Dr Bedeir Ali-El-Dein, professor of urology, Head of Renal Transplant Program, Urology and Nephrology Center, Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt. I graduated at Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University in 1988. Then I started a resident job in Urology, Urology and Nephrology Center in April, 1990. I got the Master Degree in Urology in 1995 and PhD in 1999 from Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University. I was promoted as associate professor in 2005 and a full professor in 2010. The primary areas of interest in urology are renal transplantation, urologic oncology, and reconstructive urology and urinary diversion. In addition, multiple basic science researches has been conducted. I have published around 100 international and national full scientific papers, shared in 3 books, and presented more than 200 abstracts in international and national conferences including AUA and EAU. I am a reviewer in 15 international journal, annual abstract reviewer for the congress of European Association of Urology since 2014 and I reviewed 190 papers so far. I am a member of the editorial board of 10 journals. I chaired and co-chaired 30 scientific sessions in international and national conferences including EAU. I am an international member of the American Urological Association (AUA), European Association of Urology (EAU), SIU, Romanian Association of Urology (Honorary), Arab Association of Urology, and the national Egyptian Association of Urology. I was invited to give state of the art lectures in national, regional and international congresses including EAU. I have been the principal investigator or co-investigator in 4 funded scientific projects. I am the head of one of three clinical groups working at the urology department, Urology and Nephrology Center; a supervisor of 25 master and Ph degree theses. I am working also as a certified trainer for soft skill training in the Egyptian Universities.
