Wesley Stephens Wilt, MD, is a general surgery resident at the University of Kentucky and is currently serving as the Surgical Chief Resident of Quality and Safety and the Lexington Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She has a vested interest in quality and process improvement surround the operating room and the perioperative period to better the lives and safety of patients as well as improve quality of life for surgeons by actively improving day-to-day operations. She plans to pursue a career in Trauma/Critical Care.
