Amy Xie is a PhD student at Weill Cornell Medical School and conducting thesis research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her research is focused on developing cutting-edge machine learning methods to improve precision medicine in urologic oncology. After completing her PhD, she is committed to completing medical school and pursuing a career as a physician scientist in oncology. Amy's long-term research goal is to bridge the gap between computer scientists and clinicians/researchers by developing novel computational methods and databases that improve health outcomes for cancer patients, particularly those from underserved minority populations.
