Maggie has worked in Infection Prevention and Control since 2013 for The University of Kansas Health System. She holds both the CIC and CPHQ certifications and graduated from The University of Kansas with her MPH in 2020. Prior to IPAC, she worked in adult critical care after graduating from nursing school in 2007. She serves on the board of directors for the Greater Kansas City APIC chapter as well as participates in APIC's Infection Prevention Academic Pathway Taskforce as well as serving as a member of APIC's Professional Development Committee.
