Jenay Beshears has been a registered nurse for 29 years. She has practiced in several different specialties areas which includes Labor and Delivery, Outpatient services, Endoscopy, Occupational Health and Infection Prevention. She started her career as an infection Preventionist in 2011 and received her certification in Infection Control in 2014. She earned a QPI Black Belt in 2016 and is passionate about using the QPI tools that she learned to drive quality and safety improvement changes in the healthcare environment. Because of her passion for infection prevention and its role in preventing patient harm, she decided to further her degree and completed her Masters of Science in Nursing in Infection Control and Epidemiology in 2017.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family especially her 3 grandchildren, gardening, cooking, and camping.
