Eva Ghabrial graduated from the School of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt, and practiced as an OBGYN physician for almost 19 years, after which she moved to California, USA in 2013. She started working her way towards infection control and prevention out of extreme passion for patient safety and high-quality healthcare provision. In 2019, Eva graduated with a Masters in Health Administration and immediately joined the Infection Control workforce. This prompted her to additionally obtain a Master's in Public Health, which she completed in December of 2022. She also obtained her Certification in Infection Control (CIC) besides being a Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP-CMS). For the past two years, Eva has been part of the Clinical Epidemiology and Infection Prevention (CEIP) team at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
