LT Amber E. VanDusen is an Environmental Health Officer (EHO) in the US Public Health Service (PHS) and assigned to the Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia. LT VanDusen joined PHS as a commissioned officer in 2017 and her first duty station was in Norfolk, Virginia with the US Coast Guard. She has been in her current assignment with CDC as a senior environmental health inspector for VSP since 2019. LT VanDusen earned her Master of Science in Environmental Health degree from East Caroline University in Greenville, North Carolina. She completed her Bachelor of Art degree at Malone University in Canton, Ohio. LT VanDusen holds a Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) credential from the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA).
