Maggie Dudeck is a Senior Health Scientist and the team lead for the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) Acute Care Analytics Team in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP) at the CDC. Maggie is a nationally recognized consultant in the field of healthcare associated infections (HAIs) epidemiology and the NHSN surveillance system, making significant contributions to the complex development and implementation of surveillance protocols and analytic products. She leads a multidisciplinary team in activities related to the analysis of extensive, highly visible surveillance data and assesses impact of surveillance protocol changes. Maggie advises Division leadership, Federal and nonFederal stakeholders on the use of NHSN for measuring progress in the prevention of HAIs and other adverse events. Maggie earned her BS degree from Northern Illinois University and her MPH in epidemiology from Emory University.
