University of Michigan Health
Haley graduated with her MPH from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in 2022. Prior to graduation, she earned an internship at University of Michigan Health in the Infection Prevention and Epidemiology (IPE) department, evaluating Hospital-onset Bloodstream Infection (HOBSI) rates vs the CLABSI rate. This research earned her the New Investigator Award at APIC 2022. Months before graduation, Haley started as an Infection Prevention Analyst for the IPE department where she assisted Infection Preventionists with surveillance of HAIs, communicated and worked collaboratively with local health departments, and performed COVID-19 contact tracing. Most recently, she was promoted to Infection Preventionist where she will continue working towards the goal of reducing CLABSI in the outpatient dialysis, home care, and inpatient populations.
