Robert T. Fairman, PhD, MPH, CHES is a Research Scientist at Tulane University School of Medicine, Center for Health Outcomes, Implementation, and Community Engaged Sciences (CHOICES). Dr. Fairman is also afflilated with the Division of Infectious Diseases, at Atrium Health. As an epidemiologist, Dr. Fairman is trained in social and behavioral epidemiology of infectious diseases, in which he uses his training to understand social and structural factors of infectious disease. His experience includes working as an epidemiologst on the local and state levels, as well as working at the CDC in the Division of Healthcare Quality and Promotion. Dr. Fairman earned his PhD from Georiga State University School of Public Health, and holds a MPH from Emory University.
