Elizabeth Stout is a young adult with epilepsy who acts as an advocate for children and youth with disabilities. She graduated from Albion College in 2022 with a bachelors degree and is attending the University of Michigan School of Public Health studying health education and behavior for a masters degree. Elizabeth serves as a youth consultant for the Family Center, including acting as a member of the Pediatric Epilepsy Project. She also participates in other groups and projects related to disabilities, including the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Children and Youth with Epilepsy program, National Technical Assistance Center on Transition: The Collaborative's Youth Engagement Transition Initiative, Susan B. Meister Child Health Evaluation and Research Center at Michigan Medicine, National Network for Advancing Systems of Services for Children and Youth with Special Health Care's Blueprint for Change Work Group, and the Child Neurology Foundation's Patient Experience Bureau.
