Emily Yeatts, MSW, MPH, is the Reproductive Health Unit Supervisor at the Virginia Department of Health (VDH). She works with her team to manage statewide public health programs related to family planning, adolescent health, sex education, state certified doulas, pregnancy loss, and abortion. Prior to working at VDH, she worked with reproductive health programs at various organizations in Richmond, Virginia, including the Virginia League for Planned Parenthood, Minority Health Consortium, and Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). She earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) and Master of Public Health (MPH) from VCU, and is currently an adjunct professor at the VCU School of Social Work. She is a Certified Volunteer Master Naturalist and is pursuing a Botanical Illustration Certificate at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.
