Charmaine Webster is the Director of Parent Engagement at The WATCH Coalition and is a member of the coalition’s founding Leadership Team. Addressing the disparities that people in our community face forced what had been a long conversation to culminate in the development of The WATCH Coalition. The WATCH Coalition is a grassroots community-based organization that was created to promote social equity, community cohesion, and intergenerational leadership in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. We have united to ensure a better future for our community’s young people and their families. As the mother to three young adults and the nurturer to countless Woonsocket youth, she is eager to replace band-aid responses to the issues facing Woonsocket families with long term solutions by focusing on policy and systematic change. Charmaine is a staunch advocate of building a strong and healthy village to properly care for each and every child in Woonsocket.
