Kevin Daly is the father of adult twins. He has two grandchildren. His son was a special education student for twelve years. As a young student, Kevin’s son struggled in school. Thanks to special education and a large amount of parent involvement, Kevin’s son eventually learned to succeed in school. He is now a teacher at a public elementary school.
Kevin’s experience with his son led to a career as a special education parent advocate, which has lasted for 24 years. Kevin joined PATH 12 years ago. He is a frequent presenter at webinars and parent group meetings, speaking on topics related to special education and the educational rights of parents.
Kevin serves on the Connecticut Council on Developmental Disabilities, the Connecticut Special Education PTO Alliance and the Benhaven Board of Directors. He is the past President of the Connecticut Parent Teacher Association, where he served on the board of directors for ten years.
Kevin and his wife live in Bristol.
