MCH/Title V Director

Cindy deSa began her role as the MCH/Title V Director for Virginia Department of Health in May 2021. Prior to this, she was a social work manager for over 10 years at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Georgia's only pediatric primary and specialty care network. ensuring the well being of children with medical complexity. Cindy served as a Title V reviewer in Region 4 for a number of years. Cindy was a MCHB Pediatric Pulmonary Center Social Work Trainee at Children's Hospital of Alabama, and received her master's in public health from University of Alabama, and her master's in social work from the University of Alabama.
