Candace Jarzombek is a Master of Public Health student at Boston University. Her degree certificates are in Community Assessment, Program Design, Implementation, and Evaluation and Maternal and Child Health. During the summer of 2022, she had the opportunity to intern with the Virginia Department of Health through the National MCH Workforce Development Center Title V Internship Program. She currently works as a research assistant at Boston University’s Catalyst Center, the national technical assistance center for health insurance and financing for children and youth with special health care needs. Her professional interests include maternal, infant, and early childhood home visiting, equity-focused healthcare quality improvement for MCH populations, and the intersections of research, policy, and practice.
