Dennis Wallette is the current President of the AMCA. He began his career in mosquito control in 1990 as a biologist at the East Baton Rouge Mosquito Abatement and Rodent Control District. In 2003, he was named Director of the newly formed Tangipahoa Mosquito Abatement District. He has just celebrated his 20th anniversary with that program.

Dennis has previously served on the AMCA Board of Directors as the South Central Regional Director (2006-2012), and is a Past President of the Louisiana Mosquito Abatement Association (2005).
