The primary purpose of a dental practice is to provide quality patient care to help patients achieve optimal dental health. Secondarily, dentistry is a business responsible for maintaining accurate clinical and financial records while providing a financially rewarding experience for the entire dental team.

Understanding fundamental business principles is necessary for a practice to function efficiently and effectively. Additionally, a basic understanding of software reports, computer security, and practice benchmarking is vital in maintaining accurate records.

This course discusses various business principles that help practices enhance production and collections while ensuring the accuracy and relevancy of software reports and financial data.
