Hi! My name is Shruthi Aravindan. I am a 2nd year pre-dent student at UCLA. My research is focused on studying prevelance of dental diseases in disabled children. This is what I'll be presentign on at NOHC. Beyond this, I am also interested in exploring other aspects of public health as related to dentistry, such as the effects of THC, nicotine, smoking, etc on oral flora. I am looking forward to connecting with more people in Dental Public Health and gaining more insight into the field from experts. I am excited to learn all about the novel research that is being done in dentistry.
