In this workshop, we explore non-CFTR-related therapies for improving airway physiology for people with cystic fibrosis. We will examine a broad range of strategies, including those related to mucociliary clearance, other ion channels and CF modifier genes which may be targeted for therapeutic gain. We will close with a discussion of how these therapies may complement CFTR-modulators.
