My lab studies the regulation, gating, trafficking and pharmacology of members of the KCNN gene family in both endothelia and epithelia. In particular, we study KCa3.1 and KCa2.3 in these systems. We also study the role of KCNQ and K2P channels in modulating transepithelial Na absorption and Cl secretion acorss primary cultures of human bronchial epithelial cells (HBEs).
