Dr. Marcelo Munoz is a Chemist and Pharmacist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Previous to his Ph.D., Dr. Munoz had vast experience in the pharmaceutical and drug testing sectors. He obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2018. Then, he Joined Dr. Emilio's Alarcon lab at the Ottawa Heart Institute in 2018 as a postdoctoral fellow. Since then, he has been awarded several times for his leading role in research and published high-impact factor journals. Dr. Munoz expects to be the next generation of research leaders that translate new innovations from the bench to the clinic, improving the health of patients.
