This is a longstanding program with the intention of bringing together cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and vascular surgeons to summarize the latest innovations, issues and findings in cardiac surgery. Program highlights include: a presentation on the fate of left atrial appendage by Dr. Richard Whitlock; a comprehensive review on tricuspid valve repair by Dr. Michael Chu; a discussion on the interactions between COVID-19 and ECMO by Dr. Awori Hayenga; and a candid presentation on the equity, diversity and integration in cardiac surgery with Dr. Bobby Yanagawa.
