Marresa Houle BS, RVT, RDMS, RPhS has been in the field of vascular and phlebology ultrasound for the past seventeen years. She started her career at CompuDiagnostics, Inc. working with the Morrison Vein Institute and then moved on to St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center where she is the current supervisor of ultrasound and CT. She participates in several research based studies at the hospital and is currently focused on contributing to the education and training of others in the field of ultrasound. Marresa presently serves as the co-chair of the ultrasound section of the annual conference for the American Vein and Lymphatic society and is also a faculy member for the annual RPhS review course and ultrasound review session. She has multiple publications on vascular anatomy, ultrsaound technique, and is the primary author of an article published in the JVU related to differences in reflux findings according to patient positioning. When she is not obsessing over ultrasound you can find her hiking, backpacking, and spending time with her friends and family in sunny Phoenix, Arizona.
