In this session we will discuss the pathogenesis, diagnosis and evaluation of peripheral artery disease. Mixed arterial and venous disease is common. We will Illustrate the use of adjuncts to wound healing in mixed arterial and venous disease and discuss the role and timing of interventions. Recognize vasculitis as the great mimicker of arterial and venous disease. Review the various small vessel vaso-occlusive and vasospastic conditions which can affect the distal extremities including occupational vascular disorders, pernio, acrocyanosis, Achenbach syndrome and others.
