Presentation Description: DHS S&T and FEMA IPAWS equip emergency managers and first responders with new tools to notify the public and enhance safety.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of the session, participants will be able to navigate through the IPAWS Program Planning Toolkit to develop in depth and actionable emergency preparedness plans that will help prepare their communities for emergencies.
At the end of the session, participants will know who to reach out to so they can pilot the program planning toolkit and provide feedback to help continue improving the toolkit.
At the end of the session, participants will understand this new phase of emergency alerting and have an understanding of what the future of emergency alerting looks like.
