Presentation Description: Every 911 Center has limited promotional opportunities. How do you know if you are ready to promote? When do you know it is time to leave your center? These questions come up during almost everyone's 911 career, sometimes from a desire to promote up and sometimes from a desire to change it up and learn something new. Whatever your motivation, there are pitfalls and challenges for promoting within the industry. We will discuss how to prepare, how to look for opportunities, making the choice to take the leap, and then how to make your best impression during those interview processes!
