Presentation Description: This is a panel session moderated by Ms. Bush and Ms. Ronning to provide a forum for sharing lessons learned and progressive modeling for data interoperability. Panelists to include representatives from regional data interoperability efforts across the country to include those in WA, OR, NC, IL, and TX.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will learn the status of data interoperability throughout the emergency communications community and the reasons behind the lags and advancements
Participants will have the opportunity to query the panel of representatives about their specific experiences and lessons learned in forming and advancing data interoperability at local, regional, and state levels.
Participants will take away the tools and seed for ideas for how to initiate data interoperability through relationships, forming and progressing vendor products and services toward open architecture and applications, understand the world of data and information, and finally how to people-proof process and agreements.
