Kelly Sitzman is the Director of Communications & Employee Development for Pioneer Library System in Norman, Okla. She oversees the brand strategy and staff development for PLS’s three-county system. Kelly graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2015 with an MLIS in Library and Information Studies. She helped PLS open the 12th branch of the system in 2018 and currently leads Critical Mission Teams for the system. Kelly is a graduate of the ALA Leadership Institute, Oklahoma Library Association (OLA) Gold Leadership Institute, and Southwest Oklahoma City Chamber Leadership programs. She was recognized as OLA's Outstanding New Librarian in 2020 and was named "NEXT Under 40" by the Norman Chamber of Commerce/Norman NEXT Young Professionals group.
