Y-90 Angio Club

The Y-90 meeting is welcoming case presentations to be given by physicians (IR, non IRs) and trainees who are interested in initiating, developing and strengthening their practice in using intra-arterial Y-90 in the treatment of hepatic malignancies on October 6 during the 2022 Y-90: The Full Course meeting in La Jolla. Participants are asked to submit their cases related to using Y-90 intra-arterial Y-90 in the treatment of hepatic malignancies. Cases only related to this topic will be considered.
Case titles and presenters

Policies

  • The Y-90 Angio Club is open and based on availability, to all interested physicians and trainees.
  • Participants must be current SIR members.
  • All cases must be submitted via this form and received on or before the deadline Wednesday, September 14.
  • All case write-ups will be reviewed by the Y-90 Program Planning Committee, and a notice of acceptance/rejection will be announced via email to corresponding authors by Monday, September 19. 
  • The case-presenting authors will receive free registration for the Y-90 meeting. Selected cases will be presented live during the 2022 Y-90  meeting on October 6. 

Application deadline and decision

Applications for the 2022 Y-90 Angio Club are due Wednesday, September 14. Case presenting authors will be informed by Monday, September 19.

Y-90 Angio Club Trainee Scholarship 

Trainees are welcome to participate in the Y-90 Angio Club and will receive free registration as case presenters. Trainee scholarship awardees must be SIR resident members and attend the entire 2022 Y-90 meeting, which takes place October 6-8 in LaJolla, California.

The 2022 Y-90 Angio Club Trainee Scholarship is supported by an educational grant by SIR and provides free registration to trainee case presenters. 

Instructions and format

  • The case must be saved in Microsoft PowerPoint format. The presentation should be no longer than 6 minutes and the total number of slides should be 8-10 in total.
  • The title should be concise and describe the case to be reported.
  • The presenter information should only include (a) Name(s) as full first name, middle initial and last name. Underline the name of the presenting author of the presentation.
  • The structure of the case must consist of the following components: (suggested number of slides are included)
    1. Title slide as noted above (slide 1)
    2. Initial patient presentation with brief history and exam findings to include pertinent PMHx, meds, labs, and physical exam findings (1 slide)
    3. Pertinent pre-procedure imaging such as CT/MR/PET-CT (1 slide)
    4. Procedural imaging such as angiography, CBCT, SPECT/CT, dosimetry with annotations when appropriate (1-2 slides)
    5. Clinical follow-up for the patient to include ECOG, labs, imaging follow up (1-2 slides)
    6. The final slide should state a teaching point or question (basic or complex) that this case illustrates.
