Digital events give organizers an opportunity to gain a full view of what attendees did and which aspects of an event that truly engaged them. But this is only true if the platform is producing accurate data and if teams can make sense of the data it produces. In this talk, we will discuss how to overcome limitations of data being produced by digital event platforms using the new industry standard for digital events (RSDE). We will also discussing general strategies for measuring events with standardized data while discussing insights on how attendees are using events and what this means for the design of physical and hybrid environments.
Learning Objectives:
Attendees will understand how digital event data is limited and how to use the industry standard for digital events (RSDE) to help address this issue.
Attendees will learn to develop strategies for measuring events with standardized data.
Attendees will discover insights on how attendees are using events with implications for the design of physical and hybrid environments.
