Dr. Young K. Kim is a clinical assistant professor at New York University College of Dentistry, Department of Prosthodontics, as well as continuing his patient care through private practice in Manhattan, primarily focusing on complex full-arch surgical/reconstructive cases. He is a Diplomate and Fellow in the American Board of Prosthodontics. After earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Kim earned Doctor of Medical Sciences and a Certificate in Prosthodontics from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he was a President’s Scholar. Along with various recent publications, Dr. Kim has been serving as a reviewer for Journal of Prosthodontics and Dentistry Review. Dr. Kim was the editor and co-leader for the NYU implant project '20 and '21, leading to the publication of a restorative manual now shared with over 12 countries, 13 states, and 29 institutions. Dr. Kim is also heading the YOMI robotic surgical project at NYU, establishing the first predoctoral robotic implant surgical curriculum in the United States. In September 2021, he was the first recipient of the new Rising Faculty Award in the NYU Academy of Distinguished Educators.
