Participants should be aware of the following financial/non-financial relationships:
Young K. Kim, DMD, DMSc: I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
In full-arch implant rehabilitation, a denture conversion technique has an inevitable limitation of utilizing a removable interim prosthesis with a high level of technique sensitivity and cognitive burden. In this lecture, Dr. Kim will describe a workflow of the Trajectory Guided Implant Surgery (TGIS) concept, strategically utilizing the remaining dentitions for a full-arch, teeth-supported temporary prosthesis. This concept advances the implant positioning and loading process, and, therefore, creates a more predictable workflow.
Learning Objectives:
Implement the prosthetic trajectory of utilizing fixed provisional prosthesis
Integrate the surgical trajectory of sculpting the soft/hard tissue anatomy
Conduct a TGIS sequence on your actual partially edentulous patients for a more efficient workflow
