Bio-Techne
Dr Hannah Maple is the Innovation Manager for Tocris Bioscience (part of Bio-Techne). Her role spans both scientific and commercial activities relating to the development of chemical and biological tools to support life sciences research. Hannah and the wider Product Management team at Tocris work closely with the pharmaceutical industry and academic institutes to ensure that new reagents and chemical tools reach the widest possible field of researchers. Hannah manages internal research and development initiatives and academic collaborations on behalf of Tocris with a particular focus on leading both the scientific and commercial aspects of Bio-Techne’s Targeted Protein Degradation portfolio.
Prior to joining Tocris, Hannah was the manager of the MRC-funded Metabolomics NMR Facility at Bristol University. She has also worked for the pharmaceutical company, UCB, where she was a Senior Scientist developing and implementing new biophysical techniques for studying protein structure, interactions and function. Hannah received her PhD from the University of Bristol, School of Chemistry, where she worked on developing fragment screening techniques using NMR and Mass Spectrometry to identify leads for targets in the fields of oncology and immunology.
