Andrew graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2015 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He started his career in biotechnology at Ambry Genetics, where he helped build an automated “Superlab” to massively scale sample throughput in a CLIA/CAP setting. With a strong foundation in liquid handling automation as his core skillset, Andrew spearheaded the development and launch of the Chromium Connect Platform. He focused on the software and system integration required to synchronize this complex system. He also helped provide an intuitive interface that guides the user and gently corrects errors. Andrew is now working on developing the next generation of assays for the Chromium Connect.
