Rectify LLC Dba Rectify Solar
Phil Teague, is the Co-Founder & CEO Rectify LLC Dba Rectify Solar. Â Before founding Rectify in May of 2013, Phil worked in chemical testing laboratories in the Indiana University SPEA Hites Envionmental Research Labortory and in oil refining sectors as a lab technician. Â It was these work experiences combined with his faith, emerging awareness, and conviction of the commandment to be stewards of creation, that Phil created Rectify. Â In commitment to fulfill Rectify's namesake, the company mission is to make things right in the world of energy, through creating solutions which align with the Laws of Nature, how the universe was created and intended, a DC (direct current) powered world.
Since starting Rectify, Phil has led Rectify to win the Indiana Small Business Development Center's EDGE award in 2015, participated in the Small Business Administration's "Emerging Leaders" program, and was awarded the Green Light Award from Earth Charter in 2017. Â In 2017 Rectify was selected to participate and collaborate in a cutting edge Nano-Grid project with Purdue University. Â This project resulted in producing a 380V powered DC powered home, a first in the USA, and a provisionally patented 380v DC load center and microgrid system that was created during this project for which is co-owned by Purdue University and Rectify.
As a result of this work, Phil was awarded the 2019 40 under 40 by the Midwest Energy News Network, now serving as Co-Chair for the Residential Standards Committee of EMerge Alliance to create the vanguard standards for 380V homes of the future, a guest speaker at SPI Atlanta in 2021 on the topic "DC is the Future, It Always Was", and collaborated in the building and planning of the 2022 RE+ Micro-Grid Showcase in Anaheim with EMerge Alliance.
