Description: LAIs are rapidly growing across the pharmaceutical industry for treatment of chronic conditions as they offer the opportunity to reduce administration frequency, improve patience adherence and reduce healthcare costs. A recent example comes from FDA approval of Cabenuva for the treatment of HIV. However, the path for design and development of LAIs is not as defined. This session aims to cover current LAI landscape, development challenges and predictive approaches to patient-centric product formulation & manufacturing.
