As Sr. Director of Process Engineering and Analytics for GSK, Brian leads a global function that brings together the scientific disciplines linked to process engineering, modeling and PAT. Under his leadership, the team have built and deployed a robust process modeling capability that is transforming how products and manufacturing processes are developed at GSK.
Over his 21 years at GSK, Brian has amassed significant experience in product development, technology transfer and commercial manufacturing. As a formulation scientist, Brian directly contributed to the development and registration of four new medicines. Brian later led multiple CMC Teams to develop and commercialize three new topical medicines. Following from this experience, Brian led the Formulation and Process Development department for GSK Dermatology.
Brian also brings a comprehensive understanding of the global manufacturing environment through his experiences in Manufacturing Operations across multiple sites and his time in the Manufacturing Science and Technology organization.
Brian has also gained significant experience in strategy development and deployment across the CMC landscape by serving as the Director of Biopharm Supply Chain Strategy and the Sr. Director of Biopharm R&D Operations where he was accountable for developing and executing strategy at an enterprise level to deliver GSK’s growing Biopharm portfolio.
