My name is Ms. Penelope Rampedi and my qualifications include Short course in Cost management accounting, Bsc Life Sciences ( Physiology and biochemistry), Honours in Biochemistry and Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutics). I am currently affiliated with Sefako Makgatho Health Science University in Pretoria, South Africa. Some of my academic achievements include: Awarded the National Research Fund scholarship for 2020-2021 for my Master of Pharmacy research project focused on the formulation of anti- TB drugs for paediatric tuberculosis.
Presented a poster titled “Formulation and optimization of a fixed dose combination oral suspension for first line treatment of tuberculosis in paediatrics using the box- behnken experimental design” at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences PharmSci360 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, October 2021.
Accepted abstracts titled: “Development of a child-friendly antibiotic packed multiparticilate oral sprinkle formulation for TB pharmacotherapy” to be presented in American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences PharmSci360 at Boston, USA, October 2022.
Awarded a certificate on a national university presentation titled “Design and evaluation of a fixed dose combination antitubercular reconstitutable oral suspension for flexible paediatric dosing” at the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University Research Day, Pretoria,South Africa, 25th August 2021.
