RESEARCH INTERESTS
Korea Institute of Toxicology has secured public safety by globalization of domestic GLP toxicology test and conducted the leading role in the development of biopharmaceuticals. As part to comply with the global trends to reduce animal studies during drug development, my team is currently focusing on the development of model to predict drug-induced liver injury by integrating in vitro, in vivo, and in silico data. And the major interest is to develop computational models to predict adverse effects of chemicals on human with machine learning and deep learning methods for the purpose of replacement of experimental animal tests.
