The Pharmaceutical Development Institute (PDI) at the URI Kingston Campus operates a 7000 SF clean manufacturing facility (with ancillary analytic lab) with a mission to 1) partner with biotech and pharmaceutical companies to develop and produce experimental drug dose forms; 2) to build a skilled workforce by training current and potential biotech employees in advanced pharmaceutical technologies. The Institute has created a portfolio of successful projects and a network of partners throughout the Northeast region.
