Thomas Borris, DDS

Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans’ Administration Medical Center.

Received his DDS at the University of Illinois in 1986. Joined the US Army in 1987 and served in world-wide assignments to include multiple combat theaters. Received his OMS certificate at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma Washington in 1997 and was Board Certified in 1999. He retired from the military in 2007.

He began his post-military career at the Denver Health Medical Center training OMS residents and provided trauma and reconstructive surgery. In 2009 he moved to the University of Colorado providing full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has since returned to government service helping his fellow Veterans at the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans’ Administration Medical Center. He has lectured extensively throughout the United States and Canada.
