Ann Lundy is the Chief Operating Officer for Access Community Health Network (ACCESS). In this position, Ann is responsible for the overall strategic management of ACCESS’ 35 health centers and the integration of all of its clinical service lines and programs. As COO, Ann must ensure that ACCESS consistently provides high quality, cost-effective care while driving innovation across the network.
Previously, Ann served as the Executive Director of HealthCura, where she was responsible for the overall strategic and operational responsibility for ACCESS’ start-up Illinois Medicaid Accountable Care Entity (ACE). When the ACE program transitioned to managed care plans, Ann worked with Blue Cross and Blue Shield Illinois (BCBSIL) to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of care for all HealthCura patients.
Ann brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion for health care delivery to our most vulnerable populations. She is a Registered Nurse with more than 26 years of experience in ever-expanding health care roles that include leading, designing, managing, structuring, and implementing operational policies and procedures that support businesses for Medicaid and Medicare managed care programs. These positions allowed Ann to sharpen her skills in strategic direction, and program development across multiple business lines to achieve specific goals and objectives. Ann has also worked in population health, where she honed her skills designing complex clinical models to improve health outcomes.
For nearly 10 years, Ann worked for United HealthCare Community and State on a national level. She first served as Senior Director of Clinical Operations and later was promoted to National Vice President of Clinical Operations. Within both of these positions, she was responsible for all clinical operations for Community and State Business, which included 25 health plans covering more than four million Medicaid lives. These health plans covered TANF, CHIP, ABD, LTSS and D-SNP.
Ann has an Associate Degree in Nursing from the University of Indianapolis, an occasion at which she was also recognized for Outstanding Clinical Excellence. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana University and earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Rockhurst University
in 2003.
