Celeste Nevarez is the chief of clinical services at Emergence Health Network. She is a native El Pasoan and holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in sociology from Texas Tech University and a master's degree in counseling psychology from Arizona State University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the State of Texas, Nevarez has developed an expertise in adolescent issues, the impact of trauma, maintaining ethical practices and empowering women. She utilizes an array of modalities to serve her clients, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). She is also recognized by peers and colleagues as a trauma-informed leader both in the clinical guidance she provides and her contributions to organizational leadership during times of crisis.
