Dr. Marianne DiMatteo, PhD, MSW, is the chief executive officer of Grant-Blackford Mental Health, a community mental health center that serves hundreds of residents each year in Grant and Blackford counties and surrounding areas of North Central Indiana.
DiMatteo joined GBMH in September 2020 and brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in social services to GBMH. Before joining GBMH, she was chief operating officer of Familylinks, Inc., in Pittsburgh. Before that, she spent 12 years as COO of the Community Guidance Center in Indiana, Pa., where she supervised 13 mental health, substance abuse, intellectual disabilities and early intervention programs. Dr. DiMatteo also spent seven years at Family Care for Children and Youth, which worked with foster and adoptive children across Pennsylvania.
Dr. DiMatteo earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Vincent College, a Master of Social Work degree from California University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in Administration and Leadership Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
She and her husband, Steve, have three children and three grandchildren.
