Robert McHenry is the team lead for the Assertive Community Treatment program at Grant-Blackford Mental Health. He joined the agency in August 2019 as part of the Community Service Program providing services for people struggling with serious, persistent mental illness. He has more than 25 years of experience as a professional communicator in the Wesleyan Church and non-profit sector. McHenry has extensive experience with global service organizations working with non-profits in Nepal, Liberia, Zambia and Croatia.
Prior to joining GBMH. McHenry's work history included leading churches in South Dakota, Wyoming and Indiana as an ordained minister. He also served on the board of Community Outreach, a non-profit organization in Sioux Falls, S.D. McHenry was global missions director for a nine-state region of the Wesleyan Church and served on staff of a local homeless shelter.
