Patrick Sullivan, MPH, is the Community Programs & Integrations Manager for Community Medical Services in southern Arizona. After struggling with opioid use disorder for most of a decade Patrick utilized methadone for three years to find sobriety. Patrick subsequently graduated in 2013 with a BS in psychology from the University of Arizona. Patrick started in the behavioral health field in 2014 and a year later became a recovery coach at an opioid treatment program in Tucson where he helped set up the first naloxone distribution program at a behavioral health agency in the state of Arizona. Patrick started working for Community Medical Services in Tucson in 2017 and his current works incudes collaborating with criminal justice programs, conducting outreach to engage system partners, and working to expand knowledge and reduce stigma around medications for opioid use disorder. Patrick received his Master of Public Health online through the University of Massachusetts in 2020. When not working Patrick enjoys outdoors activities and spending time with his wife and two children.
