Jason Rilogio knows firsthand the unparalleled value that individuals with lived experience offer to those seeking and maintaining recovery. In addition to being an individual in long-term recovery for 11 years, Rilogio is a Certified Peer Specialist and Certified Recovery Specialist with certification enhancements in Forensic Peer Support, Peer Support in Crisis Services, and Supporting Veterans & Their Families. Rilogio is currently working as the Recovery Ecosystem Coalition Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Peer Support Coalition
As Membership Chair for the Cambria County Community Support Program, Pennsylvania State Lead for the Recovery Advocacy Project, President of the Board for the Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumers’ Association (PMHCA), and Board President for FAVOR Western Pennsylvania, Rilogio leads advocacy efforts for both mental health and substance use recovery.
He would like to see peer support integrated into the fabric of all behavioral health systems, offering a career ladder with advancement opportunities to all peer-based professionals.
Prior to his role with the Pennsylvania Peer Support Coalition, Rilogio worked as Recovery Navigator for the Cambria County office of Magellan Behavioral Health of Pennsylvania.
