Formerly NYC Deputy Health Commissioner and leader of public mental health delivery systems, Gary now focuses on advancing policies and proofs of concept that apply innovative community mental health strategies to the purpose of bolstering community resilience in the face of environmental and climate challenges. Mental health systems have untapped potential to be anchors to their communities beyond conventional clinical roles. As a follow up to his presentation session on this topic, he will explore with interested attendees how to go about pursuing such anchor roles and hear more about efforts he is involved in to realize that potential.
